What is SculpSure body contouring?
SculpSure uses laser therapy to melt fat in stubborn areas. Each treatment provides up to a 24% reduction in fat in the treatment areas. The FDA-cleared procedure is convenient because sessions are quick, painless, and require no downtime.
What areas of the body can SculpSure treat?
SculpSure body contouring is especially helpful if you’re in generally good health but have resistant pockets of fat on your:
- Hips (love handles)
- Chin (double chin)
If you need help with other areas on your body, talk to your personal aesthetician at Dr. K’s Med Spa. Everybody is different, and your aesthetician customizes treatment to meet your unique goals.
What can I expect during a SculpSure session?
In your private room at Dr. K’s Med Spa, you’ll relax on the table and get comfortable. Your aesthetician guides a laser wand over your unwanted fat cells and delivers heat energy. Below your skin’s surface, the heat breaks down the structure of the fat cells. Within a few weeks, your body’s lymphatic system flushes out the destroyed fat cells.
There’s absolutely no damage to your skin, though you’ll probably feel warm and tingly during the treatment. It’s not painful though, and it’s over in about 20 minutes.
What are stem cells?
Stem cells stand above other cells in the body for their ability to become any other type of cell. They’re found in your tissues and bone marrow and are constantly circulating to search for and replace cells that aren’t functioning properly. In essence, stem cells repair dysfunctional cells and become new cells anywhere they’re needed in your body.
What is stem cell therapy?
Stem cell therapy is a form of regenerative medicine that uses your body’s own stem cells to improve your metabolic function. Enhancing the efficiency of your metabolism helps your body minimize weight gain and use stored fats more effectively.
Is stem cell therapy safe?
Yes, stem cell therapy is safe. Because it uses your own stem cells, stem cell therapy is considered a completely natural process. The chance of your own body rejecting the stem cells or causing complications is negligible.
